This weekend, the World’s Largest Cornhole Tournament will be coming to the Ventura County Fairgrounds—The Throw Down. Spencer Makenzie’s, a popular family-owned seafood restaurant in Ventura and Camarillo, hosts the event from August 27-29th. When the cornhole tournament tapers off for the day, Spencer’s End of Summer Block Party gets going. From the Surfer’s Point LIVE Venue within the fairgrounds, there will be two full evenings of live music in store. This includes an energizing lineup of premier rock and roll cover bands and much more.
Surfer’s Point LIVE is the newest entertainment venue locals can find right next to the beach at the world-famous Surfer’s Point in Ventura, CA. Originally born in 2020 as the Concerts In Your Car venue, it has since evolved into a full in-person concert experience. CBF Productions is responsible for bringing this new and exciting venue to life.
Spencer Makenzie’s 12th annual End of Summer Block Party is going to be one to remember. The Cornhole Tournament alone is expecting to draw a crowd of 10,000 people or more. Three-day passes for the entire weekend of events and entertainment are only $20! In lieu of the recent reinstating of mask mandates, we urge all non-vaccinated individuals to wear masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please keep the safety and well-being of others in mind as we party all weekend long.
